Brox Turns TWO!!

I can't believe Brox has turned TWO!! He is full of personality and keeps us laughing all day long. He can pull the funniest faces. We just love you Broxy!!

Decorated birthday door!

We had a great family birthday party at my Aunt's pool. Both my kids love the water and are little fishes!

Grandma and Grandpa Whipple gave him these boots. He couldn't wait to put them on! He loves wearing any pair of shoes he can get his hands on!!

Another favorite...Mickey Mouse!

 Seriously...so stinkin cute!

I'm licking my lips just remembering that dessert!

What a BIG BOY you are Brox! We love you to pieces!!

Silly Boys!

Shad gets to stay home with the kids on Monday's and loves (most days) the time he gets to be with them. One Monday Shad thought it was getting too quiet, which usually means a big mess awaits us. Instead he found this... When Shad text me this picture I couldn't stop laughing. This has never happened to us... we have never found our kids asleep watching movies, eating dinner, playing - ever! They will fall asleep in their beds or car seat. That is it. Silly boys! My favorite part is Bo was sleeping with them.

Preschool

Kyson's 1st day of Preschool!! He looks so handsome... even with his fake smile that he is pulling lately and the pose to show his new back pack. I love this kid to pieces.Brox wanted his hair done and back pack on too!
Cute fake smile.

My good friend is his teacher and she is fantastic!!

Kyson Turns FOUR!!

I can't believe Kyson is 4 years old!! He is such a good boy and we are so blessed to have him in our home.

Kyson Loves:

*Playing all sports

*Reading books

*Saying prayers (always a fight of who's turn it is at our house)

*Going to Sunbeams

*Dancing to music

*Playing with his friends

*Beating up on his brother

*Star Wars (thanks to the Hendricks)

*Going to Preschool

*Chewing gum

*Going camping

*Riding motorcycles

*Cuddling with Mommy

*Playing his "Wii" (his hunting game he got for his birthday)

*Riding his bike

Annual decorated birthday door...

I let my boys pick their birthday dinner. Kyson decided on hot dogs with a bun, chips, peaches and root beer.

Mommy had to work on Kyson's birthday so Aunt Kenzie helped make the birthday cake. We used red frosting...Kyson's favorite color. Opening presents... Mommy and Daddy got Kyson clothes... he wasn't thrilled with the gift. LOL! The second gift however was a BIG hit!! Look how cute his face is. Shad & I finally gave in and got him a video game. He likes to call it his "Wii" and plays it all the time!!

Kyson got some cool shades too. I just noticed Brox holding the lighter... a proud mommy moment when your kids play with fire. Once the hunting game was set up, Kyson wouldn't focus on anything else. He wouldn't even eat his own birthday cake and ice cream.
Can you see that Brox and Shad's facial expressions are the exact same. LOL!
Happy Birthday Kyson! We love you the mostest mostest mostest!!

Family Pictures!!!

We had our family pictures done a couple of weeks ago and I loved how they turned out. Besides the fact that Brox chipped his tooth a few days before the pictures, I think the boys are so stinkin cute! Who would have known you could find this amazing spot in Vegas. Thanks Amy for being so patient with us!! These are just a few of my favorites... Handsome Boy!!When did my little baby get so BIG? Love you too Broxy!!PeekA

Cousin Davis

After almost three long months... my family finally got to meet Cousin Davis!!! August 7th Baby Davis was blessed. It was a beautiful day and we are so glad we were able to support Stephanie and Matt.Kyson gets to meet his 1st Whipple cousin!!!
Brox got to meet Sarge.

I don't think he was too scared of him... LOL!

The kids almost killed themselves on this. Oh the joys of raising two boys!!

The boys found a frog in the Scott's garden. Matt's Dad was helping Kyson hold the frog. The picture is a little blurry but you can see the frog in his hand. Isn't this picture so precious!!

Kyson decided he would rather carry the frog this way...

We love you baby Davis and are so happy you finally live closer to us!!

Co-MVP

If you are a follower of this blog, you already know my husband's obsession is softball. Although he doesn't play as much as he used to, he does get to play in a competitive police softball league on occasion. Las Vegas puts on the police and fire games (olympics for police and fire firefighters in all sports). Last year was the 1st time in 20 years Shad's team won the men's softball tournament. They of course wanted to take it two years in a row. Teams from all over the country come to play. I believe they had teams from Hawaii, Florida, Ohio, California etc. They had the tournament at Big League Dreams again and it is a fantastic facility.

The boys and I (with the help of McKenzie) were able to watch a few of the games. We had so much fun watching Daddy play!!

Sin City Combo pulled it out in a great championship game. Taking home the GOLD baby!! Congrats on winning two years in a row!!
Shad was also named Co-MVP of the tournament. The manager of the team said "when they have Shad playing they are a national championship team" ... too bad he can't play on Sunday's and most tournaments out of the State end on Sunday's. They asked him if he could just switch to being a Jehovah Witness. LOL!

Cute family!!
