- Shad & I had our first date on May 14, 2002 and were married barely over a year later on May 16, 2003. I can't believe it has almost been 10 years!! Shad was a Massage Therapist, then a Pilot, then a Flight Instructor...and now he's a Police Officer. Crazy...I know! I got my Associates in Business at Snow College (Go Badgers!), then my Bachelors and my Masters of Accountancy at SUU (Go T-Birds!). I just got my CPA license in March of 2008(YEAH)... finally I passed those dang tests!! I am working for a CPA firm auditing all sorts of clients and industries. BUT...the best thing that has ever happened to Shad & I is the birth of our three beautiful boys ... Kyson, Brox & Ren!! Kyson is 5, Brox is 3 and Ren is 5 months old. They bring so much joy into our lives it is hard to explain unless you have had children of your own. We are so blessed! Shad would kill me if I didn't mention the other member of our family... Bo our 5 year old cocker spaniel yes he is a handful but we love him! I guess that's us in a nutshell!! XOXO Melanie

You guys I love Brox, he is beautiful! I just got Talia to create a blog for me last week. I was a blog virgin up til now. Anyway I am so excited to get to stay in contact better now! Anyway I miss you guys and hope to see you soon! I hope you feel better Mel. No more coughing!

Congratulations! Two boys... you'll have your hands full of fun and dirt!!! I'm so happy for you. I didn't realize you sister married Dustin Barnhurst. They are a fun family, and he's cute kid. Anyway, take care of your two precious cuties, and maybe try to squeeze in a nap!? Hugs.

Ralaina just talked to your dad and he told us you got your new little guy. Congratulations! I hope all is going well. Even though your dad doesn't work at our office anymore, you still need to bring those cute boys by when you come to visit!
